Group Offerings

4-12 year-olds

Group therapy for children is a supportive, structured space where kids can learn, grow, and heal alongside peers who are facing similar challenges. It’s designed to help children build emotional awareness, strengthen social skills, and feel less alone in what they’re going through. Whether a child is struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, friendship difficulties, family transitions, grief, or self-esteem, group therapy offers a safe environment to practice new skills in real time.

In group sessions, children learn that their feelings make sense—and that other kids feel many of the same things. Guided by a trained therapist, groups use age-appropriate activities such as games, art, storytelling, role-play, and discussion to teach skills like emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, empathy, and problem-solving. The experience is interactive and engaging, not intimidating or lecture-based.

What makes group therapy especially powerful for children is the peer connection. Kids receive encouragement, practice healthy interaction, and build confidence by sharing and listening. They learn how to express themselves, set boundaries, handle disagreements, and develop friendships in a supportive setting.

13-17 year-olds

Group therapy for adolescents provides a structured, supportive space where teens can connect with peers who understand what they’re going through. Adolescence is a time of rapid emotional, social, and identity development. Group therapy helps teens navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, peer pressure, academic stress, family conflict, social media pressures, self-esteem concerns, and relationship struggles in a healthy and constructive way.

Unlike individual therapy, group therapy allows teens to learn alongside others facing similar experiences. Led by a licensed therapist, sessions focus on building practical skills such as emotional regulation, communication, boundary-setting, coping strategies, and problem-solving. Teens engage in guided discussions, interactive exercises, and real-life scenarios that help them practice these skills in a safe, respectful environment.

One of the most powerful aspects of adolescent group therapy is the sense of belonging it creates. Many teens feel isolated in their struggles. In group, they discover they’re not alone. They learn to give and receive feedback, build empathy, strengthen social confidence, and develop healthier ways of relating to others.

Group therapy for adults offers a supportive, structured environment where individuals can work through personal challenges alongside others who share similar experiences. Many adults struggle in silence with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, trauma, addiction, or feelings of isolation. Group therapy creates a space where you don’t have to carry those burdens alone.

Led by a licensed therapist, sessions provide both guidance and peer support. Participants engage in thoughtful discussion, skill-building exercises, and reflective work designed to strengthen emotional awareness, communication, boundaries, and coping strategies. The therapist helps ensure the group remains respectful, balanced, and focused, while members learn from one another’s insights and experiences.

One of the most powerful aspects of adult group therapy is the realization that others understand what you’re going through. Hearing different perspectives can bring clarity, challenge unhelpful patterns, and foster meaningful growth. Members often discover that sharing their story not only helps themselves but also encourages others.

Group therapy for parents is a supportive space designed to help you navigate the challenges of raising children with greater confidence, clarity, and connection. Parenting can feel overwhelming at times—whether you’re managing behavioral concerns, supporting a child with anxiety or depression, navigating adolescence, co-parenting after separation, or simply feeling exhausted and unsure of what to do next. Parent groups provide guidance, tools, and the reassurance that you’re not alone.

Led by a licensed therapist, sessions combine practical skill-building with open discussion. Parents learn strategies for effective communication, emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, discipline that builds connection rather than fear, and ways to respond thoughtfully instead of reactively. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and receive feedback in a respectful, nonjudgmental environment.

One of the most powerful aspects of parent group therapy is the shared understanding. Hearing other parents voice similar worries and frustrations can reduce shame and isolation. The group becomes a place where you can reflect, grow, and gain perspective—while also offering support to others walking a similar path.

Sexual addiction recovery groups focus on breaking destructive cycles, building accountability, developing healthy coping strategies, and addressing the underlying emotional wounds that fuel compulsive behavior. Members gain tools for relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and rebuilding integrity and trust.

Partner betrayal trauma groups support those experiencing the emotional aftermath of secrecy, pornography use, or infidelity. These groups help partners process shock, anger, anxiety, and loss of safety while learning boundaries, stabilization skills, and self-trust.

Led by a licensed therapist, groups are supportive, respectful, and never shaming. Members often find relief in realizing they are not alone and begin to experience clarity, strength, and hope in the healing process.
