About Cami

Hi, I'm glad you're here!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Iowa. I earned both my master's and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in 2011 and have been working in the mental health field since 2007. I have dedicated my career to helping people grow, heal and thrive.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to serve in many different roles, including:
-
Outpatient therapist at a community mental health center in Illinois
-
Lead therapist in an inpatient hospital in Illinois
-
School-based counselor in California and Missouri
-
Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant
-
Wellness counselor at Eastern New Mexico University
-
Chemical dependency therapist in both inpatient and outpatient programs
-
Adjust professor in the Master's Counseling Program at Missouri Valley College

Each role has shaped how I show up for the people I work with: compassionate, real, and focused on meeting you where you are. These diverse experiences have given me a wide lens to understand the challenges people face at every stage of life.
In 2024, I expanded my work into Sports Mental Performance Coaching, a passion that grew naturally from my own life as a sports mom. Helping athletes strengthen their mindset, find confidence, and love the game again is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Beyond my professional life, I'm a wife and proud mom of four boys - including twins! Much of my free time is spent at the baseball field or golf course, as a dedicated sports mom. I love traveling, being creative, and writing children's books. And fun fact: cleaning is my favorite coping skill. When life feels busy, nothing helps me reset like a fresh, organized space.
Whether I'm working with a child, adult, family, or athlete, my mission is the same: to support growth, resilience, and balance in every stage of life.
